MARTIN, TENN., August 24, 2022 – EARNS 10th DEGREE – UT Martin Chancellor Keith Carver
presents Dr. Dan Pigg with his seventh master’s degree – this time from UT Martin – during the
university’s 2022 spring commencement. This was his first degree earned from the university where he is
an English professor and his 10 th degree overall. Pigg is in his 33 rd year of teaching for the university.
MARTIN, TENN., Aug. 24, 2022 – HONORED BY UNITED WAY – Dr. Charley Deal, Gem
Bell, Judy Long and Leigh Anne Bentley were honored Aug. 18 by the United Way of West
Tennessee with awards recognizing their service and commitment to the organization.
