SERVING MILITARY VETERANS – UT Martin has earned the
2023-2024 Military Friendly® School designation in recognition of the support provided to military
veterans who attend the university. The Military Friendly® Schools survey is the longest-running, most
comprehensive review of college and university investments in serving military and veteran students. This

SPRING PREVIEW DAY IS APRIL 1 – Dr. Philip Smartt,
professor, UT Martin Department of Agriculture, Geoscience and Natural Resources, speaks to a group in
Brehm Hall during last fall’s preview day on the Martin campus. Faculty members will again be present
to answer questions Saturday, April 1, as Spring Preview Day happens from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Boling
University Center. The event is open to anyone interested in attending the university, and all prospective
