Black History Month Community Event to Feature Local Artist at JSCC

WHO: Ontoni Reedy, Jackson State Community College, Jackson State Community College Foundation

 

WHAT: JSCC will host Ontoni Reedy as a speaker for the college’s Black History Month Community Event with a speech title; “Creating Art Together in Color.” Reedy will discuss how you can’t create anything with anyone if you’re not in the same room and dive into his career, starting from nothing to sharing experiences in ballet, theatre, music, food, and poetry.

 

Reedy is an Elementary School Teacher at Community Montessori, well known in the Jackson community for his artistry as a musician, artist, and actor.

 

This free event is made possible by the JSCC Foundation, Institutional Advancement, and the college’s Black Student Association.
