Phone Scam Warning
The Madison County Fire Department has been made aware of a fund
raising scam conducted by telemarketers. The telemarketers are asking local
residents for financial contributions that will be used to support the operation
of the Madison County Fire Department.
The Madison County Fire Department is NOT associated with any
telemarketing agency and consider any representation by a telemarketer to
be fraudulent activity. We would like area residents to be aware of this
activity and to report any encounters of this nature to 731-424-5577. The
Department is working closely with the Madison County Sheriff’s
Department in hopes to identify the source fraudulent phone calls.
