Jackson, TN Boom loses to Team Dempsey 5-4 in target score in the inaugural Group G game in The Soccer Tournament
Jackson, TN - The Jackson, TN Boom suffered a tough loss today to Team Dempsey in the inaugural Group G game in The Soccer Tournament. The final score was 5-4 in target score, with Team Dempsey narrowly edging out the Boom.
Despite the loss, the Boom put up a valiant effort, with both teams playing a highly competitive and evenly matched game. The Boom fought hard throughout the game, with several close calls and near misses, but ultimately fell just short of victory.
"We're obviously disappointed with the result, but we're proud of the way our team played today," said head coach Corey Adamson. "We gave it our all and left it all out on the field. We'll regroup and come back stronger in our next game."
The Jackson, TN Boom will look to bounce back in their next game against Zala FFF. The game is scheduled for tonight, June 1 at 9 pm Central Time, and the Boom will be looking to get their first win of the tournament.
