Availability of City of Jackson / Community Development Analysis of
Impediments to Fair Housing Choice for Review and Comment and Public
Hearing Notice
The City of Jackson / Community Development is soliciting comments on
its updated draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI).
The AI is a review of barriers that affect the rights of fair housing
choice and is required by HUD as a condition of receipt of HUD funds.
Public Comment Period
The updated draft Analysis of Impediments will be available for public
review and comment from July 5, 2019 to August 5, 2019. Copies of the
AI are available on the Jackson Housing Authority’s website at
www.jacksonha.com , or may be viewed during normal business hours at
the following locations:
• Jackson Housing Authority Office, 125 Preston Street
• Mayor’s Office, City Hall
• Madison County/Jackson Library, Downtown
Public Hearing Notice
A public hearing is scheduled to present information on the draft AI
and receive comments from the public regarding the draft. The hearing
will be held at 4:00 p.m. on July 25, 2019 at Jackson Housing
Authority-Media Room, 125 Preston St., Jackson, TN 38301.
Written Comments
Written public comments are encouraged and will be accepted up to
