I want to start by sending huge congratulations to the youth on being the first graduating class of the TCAT TinyBuild Summer Camp Program! I greatly appreciate Mrs. Katina Thomas and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Jackson for inviting me to attend such an amazing program, and I would like to give a shout out to Mr. McCorry and the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce for always supporting the community and encouraging the youth!
Poe 2.0 is committed to showing our young people a different way of making a living, and there are various trades they can learn that will benefit them as long as they apply themselves. We are currently working with numerous organizations to begin apprenticeship programs that will not only allow them to gain hands-on experience in the field, but to also receive payment in the process! I have been so blessed to learn all that I have in the past 26+ years, and to be in a position to take the youth under my wings and pass it forward is truly a testimony in itself.
I want to thank the Man above first and foremost for all He’s helped me to accomplish: none of this happen without Him! I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for every single call, text, referral, post, everything: your continued love and support means so much! I promise to keep everyone updated on the progress moving forward. Be blessed!
Lewis J. Poe.
