PASSMORE LANE CONVENIENCE CENTER TO CLOSE MAY 13 DUE TO CONSTRUCTION

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Madison County Solid Waste Convenience Center, located at 95 Passmore Lane, will be closed Friday, May 13 due to construction.

The convenience center is scheduled to reopen Saturday, May 14 at 7 a.m.

Workers will remove blacktop from the convenience center driveway and install utilities for a new nearby business. Workers will backfill the area with gravel and eventually repave the driveway.

“We’re closing the site to keep everyone safe,” Environmental Health Program Director Candy Overstreet said. “Please be careful when you’re in the area and watch closely for workers.”

Madison County residents can use any of the other nine convenience centers located in Madison County to dispose of household waste. Find a list of those sites at https://www.madisoncountytn.gov/183/Solid-Waste.
