Mayor Davis earned the ‘Wormsley Outstanding County Official” Service Award at the 2022 Tennessee County Services Association Fall Conference in Murfreesboro, TN

Nashville, TN [October 19, 2022] – Hardin County Mayor and past Tennessee County Services Association (TCSA) President Kevin Davis was awarded the Robert “Bob” M. Wormsley Outstanding County Official Service award for 2022.
Mayor Davis has served in multiple leadership roles representing and serving county government both locally and nationally since he won his first election several decades ago. Kevin has also been active in other organizations, including the Association of Tennessee Valley Governments and the Southwest Tennessee Development District.
Mayor Davis has also served on the executive committee of the Southwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency, where he was an integral part of the Regional Economic Development Initiative in West Tennessee. The Robert “Bob” M. Wormsley award is a one-of-a-kind award that was created in 2004 when Bob Wormsley retired as executive director of TCSA. The Tennessee County Services Association has been working to serve and represent county mayors, commissioners, and highway executives since 1954. Its purpose is to improve the operation of Tennessee county government and, thereby, the services counties provide to their residents.
