The Humboldt Chamber, Greater Gibson County Area Chamber and Milan Chamber were all thrilled to be asked to host the first statewide conference ever held in Gibson County. Two years ago, the Tennessee Association of Community Leadership (TACL) asked us to hold the annual conference in 2019. This conference moves between the 3 Grand Divisions each year and was last held in Knoxville.

We were pleased to be able to show off various spots in Gibson County to those from rural communities as well as larger cities. Stops included the West TN Ag Museum in Milan, the Teapot Room and Courthouse in Trenton, The Venue at Twin Oaks in Humboldt and White Oak Farms in Medina. They sampled great food and fair from Smokin' Hot BBQ, Main Street Grill, Coyote Blues and The Coffee Shop.

Keynote and session speakers included Susannah Lewis (Whoa! Susannah, from Medina), Mila Grigg from MODA Branding in Nashville, Corey Pettigrew from the US Secret Service (MIlan native), John Barker from Shelby County Schools (Humboldt native), Brigadier General Harry Montgomery, Jr (Trenton native), Jeffrey Pearson the CFO of ALSAC/St. Jude and more.

2nd Annual Window Display Contest

It’s the “merriest” season of the year! Decorate your windows and facade to match and maybe you’ll win our 2nd Annual Humboldt Chamber Christmas Window Display Contest. Choose any theme you wish. There are no specific criteria for decorations except that they must be family friendly. This is a great opportunity to highlight your business during the holidays while helping to create a vibrate holiday atmosphere for residents and guests. You must be a Humboldt Chamber member to participate.
