United Way Seeks Partner Organizations for Community Impact

January 10 th , 2018, Jackson, Tennessee— United Way of West Tennessee has announced the deadlines for
local nonprofits to apply for funding by becoming a Community Impact Partner. Applicants must be 501c3
Health and Human Service Organizations that serve individuals in the 14-county UWWT service area.
To begin the application process, agencies must send a representative to one of United Way’s annual
application sessions, to be held this year at the following times:

- Tuesday, January 23rd (9:00am – 11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm)
- Thursday, January 25 th (9:00 am - 11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm)
All four sessions will be held at United Way’s new location at 470 North Parkway in Jackson. At these
times, representatives and staff members will discuss the online application format, the application
process, and what decision makers (community volunteers) will look for in an application.
It is important that the agency representative attending be the person(s) responsible for filling out the
application. Representatives must attend an entire session to receive an application. To reserve a seat,
