WEST TENNESSEE HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE RECEIVES RURAL HEALTHCARE

AWARD

Jackson, Tennessee (October 20, 2017) — Dr. Lisa Piercey, Executive Vice President, received the
American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Rural Healthcare Executive Award on Friday, October
13, at the Tennessee Hospital Association’s annual meeting in Nashville.
The award recognizes ACHE members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of
the healthcare profession and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.
Members are evaluated on leadership ability, innovation, and creativity; commitment to improving
healthcare in rural communities; and participation in local, state or regional hospital and health
association activities.
Dr. Piercey has served as Executive Vice President since 2015. Her current areas of responsibility include
administrative oversight of three rural hospitals, Spire Rehabilitation Hospital, Pathways inpatient and
outpatient mental health services, LIFT Wellness Center, Population Health and Disease Management,
Medical Center Medical Products, Employer Services, Community Education, and Senior Services.

CEO of West Tennessee Healthcare. “I can’t think of a more deserving leader to receive this award.”
The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of 40,000
healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations.
