MARTIN, TENN., Feb. 17, 2023 – SCHOLARSHIP HONORS HAMILTON-RYKER CO-FOUNDERS
– The UT Foundation, Inc., has partnered with the Hamilton-Ryker Group, Inc., to support the UT Martin College of Business and Global Affairs and the UT Martin Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems. The Hamilton-Ryker (McCreight/ Gallimore) Scholarship Endowment of $100,000 will be used for undergraduate and graduate scholarships.
The endowment is named for UT Martin alumni Wayne McCreight and Crawford Gallimore, Hamilton- Ryker co-founders, a total workforce solutions company headquartered in Martin. McCreight and Gallimore are pictured in this 2021 homecoming photograph in the Paul Meek Library following presentations to both as UT Martin Outstanding Alumni Award recipients.
HELPING SMALL BUSINESS – Carolina Vela, of Leon, Mexico, is
a UT Martin MBA student who served as a liaison between the REED Center, small businesses and
Management 790 students involved in the course’s consulting project. The project provided Management
790 students an opportunity to work with businesses as outside consultants. Students worked directly with
business owners and managers in a real-world consulting experience. Vela is pictured with Chancellor
Keith Carver at the City of Martin/UT Martin Town and Gown meeting in August at the Dunagan Alumni
Center.
