MARTIN, TENN., Nov. 11, 2021 – PAGEANT COURTS – UT Martin student and Jackson native Carly
White and Nadia Treadwell, a Middle Tennessee State University student from Union City, claimed the
Miss UT Martin and Miss Tennessee Soybean Festival crowns respectively at the combined pageant Nov.
6 in the UT Martin Boling University Center’s Duncan Ballroom. The new titleholders will compete in
the statewide Miss Tennessee Volunteer Scholarship Pageant, Wednesday-Saturday, June 15-18, 2022, at
the Carl Perkins Center in Jackson. Pictured in the pageant courts are (l, r): Kimberly Gordon, of
Brooksville, Mississippi, Miss UT Martin second runner-up; Alyssa Wade, of Paris, Miss UT Martin first
runner-up; Carly White, Miss UT Martin; Amelia Collins, reigning Miss Tennessee Volunteer; Nadia
Treadwell, Miss Tennessee Soybean Festival; Karenna Rainey, of Adamsville, Miss Tennessee Soybean
Festival first runner-up; and Emily Pennington, of McMinnville, Miss Tennessee Soybean Festival
second runner-up. All four runners-up are UT Martin students.
