UT MARTIN RANKED FOR AFFORDABILITY, PROGRAM QUALITY
MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin continues to earn national and
statewide acclaim for affordability and program quality.
Study.com included UT Martin at number 21 on a list of the most affordable colleges in the
nation. UT Martin is the number-one Tennessee school on this list, which examines information
on tuition prices, financial aid, scholarships, cost of living and other categories from the U.S.
Department of Education. No other Tennessee schools appear in the top 50.
UT Martin’s Bachelor of Nursing degree program is ranked second on RegisteredNursing.org’s
list of the best programs for registered nursing in Tennessee for 2019, just behind Lee University
in Cleveland, Tennessee. This is the third year the website has produced a state-specific list
based on each program’s pass rate for the National Council Licensure Examination for
Registered Nurses. UT Martin’s NCLEX-RN pass rate has held steady at 100 percent for
multiple years.
