HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INVITED FOR A SKYHAWK ‘TEST FLIGHT’
MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin will host Test Flight Academic
Preview Day beginning at 8:30 a.m., Feb. 18. High school juniors and seniors are invited to tour
the campus, meet with faculty members and students in areas of interest and experience college
life inside the classroom.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Boling University Center’s Watkins Auditorium with an
official welcome following at 9. An administrative fair featuring representatives from the offices
of undergraduate admissions, financial aid and scholarships, housing and dining services will be
open during the registration period.
Students will be introduced to the various academic departments at 9:30 and can attend a college
course later in the morning. From 10 a.m.-noon, participating students will visit classrooms, meet
with faculty in their chosen departments or attend a question-and-answer discussion panel.
Guests can have lunch at noon with members of the chosen department, and students will return
at 1 p.m. to tour the rest of the UT Martin campus.
