Walk for Education
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc., Gamma Psi Chapter held the 13th annual Walk For Education in recognition of American Education Week and honoring "Arise 2 Read -Team Read" program at the Lift Wellness Center.  The event, one of our national programs, is also an initiative to raise funds for our youth scholarship and promote health awareness .  The theme for the event was "Walking for Team Read" with participants requested to come dressed in their favorite team apparel.  Gamma Psi Walk for Education Chair, Latisha King and President Patricia Taylor presented Mr. James Christoferson, of Arise 2 Read with a donation of $200.00.  Mrs. Angela Lacy provided blood pressure checks.  Xinos Latia Maclin and Xinos Pledgee Brooke Huntspon participated in the walk along with Anthropos Maurice Givens.
