Orientation for Online Classes - updated

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will offer several orientation sessions designed to help students taking online classes this upcoming semester. The sessions will provide basic information regarding how online and hybrid classes work and what to expect. There will be a short question and answer session for those that have specific questions or concerns.

 

Online orientation sessions will be held for those who cannot attend in person Sunday, Aug. 27, from 4-5 p.m. or from 5-6 p.m. Students attending the orientation online should log in to https://dscc.zoom.us/j/853984155 or by telephone at 1-646-558-8656 or 1-408-638-0968. The meeting ID for this session is 853984155. An additional online orientation session will be held Monday, Aug. 28, from 4-5 p.m. Students should log in to https://dscc.zoom.us/j/559507277 or call 1-408-638-0968 or 1-646-558-8656. Students can attend an in person orientation session at the Dyersburg campus Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 2-3 p.m., inside the Learning Resource Center, room 134; the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County Wednesday, Aug. 30, from 2-3 p.m., inside the Jimmy Naifeh Building, room 141; and at the Gibson County Center Thursday, Aug. 31, from 2-3 p.m. inside the computer lab, room 108.
