Lane College Announces New Hires and Promotions
Jackson, Tenn (August 15, 2017) - Lane College is pleased to announce the recent hire of three new personnel.
Mack Daniel Chavis
Mack Daniel Chavis has joined Lane College as the Director of Physical Plant. Mr. Chavis joins us from Environmental Consulting Inc. and has B.S. in Plant Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Mr. Chavis says he is excited to work for Lane in the areas he enjoys—landscaping, carpentry, and working with people. Lane College is excited to have Mr. Chavis on our team and believes his experience will be valuable in improving and maintaining our beautiful campus.
Tracey Pelham
Tracey Pelham has joined Lane College as the Director of Special Projects under the Office of the Executive Vice President and Chaplain. Mrs. Pelham joins us from WBBJ-TV. With a B.A. in communications and over 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and sales, Mrs. Pelham says she wants to help the college strive for the next level of excellence in the areas directed by the Office of the Executive Vice President, including, financial aid, admissions, and the Office of the Chaplain. Lane College is proud to have Mrs. Pelham join our team.
Dr. Deborah Rogers
Dr. Deborah Rogers has joined Lane College as the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs. A familiar face at Lane College, Dr. Rogers has previously served the college as the Vice President of Academic Affairs and as an Assistant Professor of Religion. With Ph.D. in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and her previous leadership experience at the college, Lane is pleased to have Dr. Rogers back on the team and looks forward to seeing her guide the Office of Academic Affairs.
