DSCC to Offer Orientation Sessions for Distance Education Students
Dyersburg, Tennessee – Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will offer several orientation sessions designed to help students taking online classes this spring semester. The sessions will provide basic information regarding how online and hybrid classes work and what to expect. There will be a short question and answer session for those that have specific questions or concerns.
An online orientation session will be held for those who cannot attend in person Jan. 17 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. or from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Students attending the orientation online should log in to https://dscc.zoom.us/j/7312863243 or by telephone at 1-646-558-8656 or 1-408-638-0968. Students can attend an in person orientation session at the Dyersburg campus Jan. 18 from 9-10 a.m. or from 10-11 a.m. inside the Learning Resource Center, room 134; the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County Jan. 18 from 1-2 p.m. or from 2-3 p.m. inside the Learning Resource Center, room 156; and at the Gibson County Center Jan. 19 from 1-2 p.m. or from 2-3 p.m. inside the computer lab, room 108.
