KNOXVILLE – A joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of two men accused of trafficking women for the purposes of commercial sex. 

 

Last week, working alongside the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, TBI Agents conducted an undercover human trafficking operation. The focus of the operation was to identify individuals seeking to engage in commercial sex acts with females under the age of 18, and those engaged in trafficking others for commercial sex acts. During the course of the investigation, Zachery Felton (DOB 4/14/85) and Kejuan J. Chapman (DOB 6/26/80) were identified as potential traffickers.

 

On February 1st, authorities arrested both Chapman and Felton. Chapman is charged with one count of Promoting Prostitution and Driving on a Suspended License. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on a $3,000 bond. Felton is charged with one count of Promoting Prostitution. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

 

At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing, with the possibility of additional arrests and charges.
