JACKSON – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an indictment for a Dyer man accused of assaulting a juvenile during an altercation in October 2016.

At the request of 28th District Attorney General Garry Brown, TBI Agents began investigating Charles “Chuck” Arnold (DOB 2-22-57) on October 19th. During the course of the investigation, Agents, with the cooperation of the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department, developed information that Arnold strangled a teenager during an altercation at home in Trenton earlier in the month.

On Monday, the Gibson County Grand Jury returned an indictment, charging Arnold with one count of Aggravated Assault. Today, he surrendered to authorities, who booked him into the Gibson County Jail on $10,000 bond.
