Memphis Woman Indicted, Arrested for TennCare Fraud
MEMPHIS – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of Tara Brown for TennCare Fraud.
At the request of the Bureau of TennCare, Office of Program Integrity, TBI Agents began an investigation into the TennCare billing activities of Tara Brown, DOB 8/10/1988, of Memphis, TN. The investigation resulted in a Grand Jury indictment for TennCare Fraud on September 26th.
On October 3rd, Brown was arrested for TennCare Fraud. Brown was booked into Shelby County Corrections Center on a $10,000 bond.
