TWO ARRESTED IN WASHINGTON COUNTY DRUG INVESTIGATION

JOHNSON CITY – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the 1st Judicial Drug Task Force has led to the indictment of two Washington County residents on drug-related charges.

In May 2016, at the request of 1st District Attorney General Tony Clark, TBI Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division along with Drug Task Force Agents began investigating a case involving the illegal distribution of painkillers. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Ross A. Isbell and Crystal E. Necessary were involved in a conspiracy to distribute Roxicodone pills.

Last week, the Washington County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Isbell, 27, and Necessary, 37, with two counts of Sale of Schedule II Drugs and one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Drugs. Today, both were arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
