Toy Gun Discovered on Campus
(November 10, 2016, Jackson, TN) – This morning, the principal at Jackson Careers and
Technology School received information that a student had brought a gun into the school. The
principal along with the School Resource Officer located the student and found a toy gun in the
student’s backpack. The student has been suspended and released to parents. Possession
of a weapon on a school campus is a zero-tolerance offense.
JCT families have been informed of the incident via the district parent information system in
